UUJ Ladies Rugby The Ladies Rugby Club in Jordanstown has grown from strength to strength over the last 2 years and now we have challenge matches against the other campuses and are currently members of the Irish Womens Student Rugby Football Union (say that drunk!!) IWSRFU. Recently we have been constituted to the UU Sports Union and we are always looking for new players. It matters not if you have never even held a rugby ball before, we have players of all abilities, from beginners to Ulster and Ireland representitives. We are all about fun and enjoyment, learning new things and meeting people, with a bit of healthy competition along the way.
2006/07 season will be especially exciting as we are currently a tour date for a mystery Ladies Rugby team (who made me swear I wouldn't tell).... but as it's done now (and we won) it was Lancaster Ladies who Arrive ln late March
We are also hoping to have intervarsity events with the other UU campuses and beyond!! But we need YOU to make it work!
