Big Congratulations to UUJ Hurlers for WINNING the ALL IRELAND Division 2 Championships!! It was a long hard road but our boys won in the end in emphatic style! Hopefully this is only the start of UU’s winning ways this sporting season!!!

UUJ Ladies Basketball

WELL DONE UUJ LADIES BASKETBALL.... who beat Queens in a hair rising encounter last night! Despite a nasty ankle injury to 3 point specialist Danielle Muckian... and the 7-8 point deficit throughout, in the final quarter the girls of UUJ pulled out all the stops to win by 3 points.... final score QUB 52 UUJ 55!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Jenny O'Kane and Orla Hughes who finished 1st & 2nd respectively in the Women’s Plastic Race at the River Mourne Whitewater Race 2006 at the weekend.  William Stevenson picked up Silver and Andy Grillenberger got Bronze in the Men’s Plastic Race.

Volleyball Intervarsity’s

CONGRATULATIONS to the UUJ Men’s Volleyball Team who have won the Irish Intervarsity’s in Trinity at the weekend. They beat UL in the fifth set of the final to bring home the Gold.
