UUC Soccer Club Reserves suffered the same fate as there first team did just a few weeks early by losing in yet another cup final. 

The reserves travelled down to Limerick to compete in the Crowley Cup 2007 and were in fine form beating trinity 3-0 in the first game, before knocking out old rivals UUJ in a penalty shootout to clinch the semi-final victory and progress into the final.

Unfortunately, the team just couldn’t go that extra mile and were shaded out by a fine UCC team.  The 5-0 score line didn’t reflect the overall match as a 2-0 defeat would have portrayed a more accurate account of events.

Praise must go to the whole team whose commitment, effort and behaviour both on and off the pitch was exemplary throughout the tour.
